º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ School Psychology Program Gains International Recognition

The º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ School Psychology program was awarded accreditation by the International School Psychology Association (ISPA) recently at its annual meeting in Manchester, England. The º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ program is now one of only five programs in the US that has achieved international recognition. The School Psychology program at º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ is based on the idea practice should honor diversity and flow from the familial, cultural and linguistic environment of each student. ISPA accreditation board cited the program’s commitment to establishing cultural competence in its graduates and the overall excellence of coursework. The º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ accreditation team was led by Dr. Frank Nascimento, Assistant Professor of Psychology.
